In 1995 I kept a visual diary for a year. Every day I made two drawings on uniform sized paper (18 x 28 cm in card format). Sometimes one was sufficient. The intention was that this was to be a diary of internal events rather than physical ones. Inevitably these would sometimes overlap and I would record a particular location, eg. the pond at Broxbourne 01-07-95. At other times when nothing of interest had taken place, I drew a significant object or plant. In retrospect, these pictures act as triggers to the memory of that particular day.
I have selected one example from each month.
